CLEVER°FRANKE and cultural city lab RAUM approached us to help design audio-visual compositions and software for their Cirque du Data ‘circus show’. This show created a deeper understanding of the role that data plays in everyday life while also letting people discover how data could improve the quality of life in a city. For this show we created animations, music and audio-visual sample software. The sold out show was performed six times in two days.

Live interaction

During the performance, the hostess interviewed members of the audience using a video camera and microphone. These recordings were then utilized to create a live soundtrack and audio-visual interludes, which were displayed on a large, round video screen on the floor of the circus.
