For ID&T, a Dutch organizer of many Dance festivals and events worldwide, we produced an interactive installation for their 3.000 square meter immersive experience, AMAZE. For AMAZE we created the Mirror Maze installation. Visitors are secretly photographed and with face analysis software automatically fitted into an audio-visual composition projected in a mirror maze. A surprising and mind bending experience.

FACE ANALYSIS AND RECORDING

In the maze face recognition software triggers video recording software to make a short recording.

Subsequently, video analysis software selects the best video recordings and makes them fit seamlessly into the audio visual composition.

AUDIO VISUAL COMPOSITION

We created an audio visual composition for six video screens, surround sound and synchronised light. To achieve this, we developed custom plug-ins specifically for Ableton Live.

The show is a real-time processed audio-visual composition, mixing and distorting recorded faces into a captivating, spacey journey for the senses.
